As the year wraps up, crime game enthusiasts on Android have been busy engaging with their favorite titles. Sensor Tower provides a glimpse into how these games performed in the US during the fourth quarter of 2023.
Agent Hunt - Hitman Shooter, released by Homa, showed a steady increase in downloads, peaking at approximately 85K in late November before settling around 74K by the end of December. Weekly active users followed a similar upward trajectory, starting at roughly 103K and soaring to around 271K in the final week of the quarter.
Thief Puzzle: to pass a level by TapNation, although not reflecting significant revenue, experienced a surge in downloads, reaching a high of over 100K in the last week of December. Its weekly active users mirrored this growth, spiking from about 97K to over 210K during the same period.
Kwalee Ltd's Airport Security saw a modest revenue per week, with the highest at just over $300. Downloads showed a notable jump from around 43K to over 77K, and weekly active users nearly doubled from 58K to almost 97K by the end of Q4.
Traffic Cop 3D, another Kwalee Ltd creation, maintained a consistent revenue stream with a slight uptick towards the end of the quarter. Downloads rose from about 16K to over 32K, while weekly active users increased from 27K to close to 45K.
Lastly, Lion Studios' Mr Bullet - Spy Puzzles did not generate revenue this quarter, but it saw downloads grow from 11K to over 38K. Weekly active users also jumped from 35K to 80K, indicating a growing interest in the game.
